The Reverend Canon Anne Mallonee
Chief Ecclesiastical Officer
Church Pension Group

The Reverend Canon Anne Mallonee is Executive Vice President and Chief Ecclesiastical Officer for CPG. She serves as an ambassador for CPG and is a key advisor to the organization. She joined CPG in 2014.

Immediately prior to joining CPG, she served as Vicar of Trinity Church Wall Street in New York City for ten years. Ordained for over 30 years, her ministry has been at the diocesan level and in campus, parish, and cathedral settings.

She holds a BA from the University of Kansas and an MDiv from Berkeley Divinity School at Yale University.

Mary Kate Wold
Chief Executive Officer and President
Church Pension Group

Mary Kate Wold serves as Chief Executive Officer and President of the Church Pension Group (CPG), a $17 billion financial services enterprise that provides retirement, health, life insurance, property and casualty insurance, and other products and services to The Episcopal Church. She also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of The Church Pension Fund, CPG’s governing body.

She has served in a variety of leadership positions in the corporate, legal, and government sectors. Prior to joining CPG, she was a senior finance executive and principal corporate officer of Wyeth, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Before embarking on her corporate career, she was a partner and chaired the tax practice group of Shearman & Sterling, a leading global law firm. Earlier in her career, she served in the Office of Tax Policy of the United States Department of the Treasury.

Her board participation has included both not-for-profit and for-profit organizations. She sits on the board of the Church Benefits Association, a national association of faith-based benefits organizations, and on the steering committee of the Church Alliance, a benefits policy and advocacy group. From 2016 until 2023 she served on the vestry of Trinity Church Wall Street in New York City and on its investment committee, which oversees the institution’s multi-billion-dollar real estate and securities portfolio. She also sits on the boards of Nucleus RadioPharma, The Jackson Laboratory, and Burke Neurological Institute. Her professional affiliations include membership in the Women’s Forum of New York and Women Corporate Directors.

Mary Kate spent her childhood in Bottineau, North Dakota, a small rural community on the Canadian border. She graduated from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota, summa cum laude with a BA in English and Theater and was elected a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She later graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School. She holds an honorary degree of Doctor of Humane Letters from the Berkeley Divinity School at Yale University.

Daryl J. Carter

Avanath Capital Management, LLC

Daryl J. Carter is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Avanath Capital Management, LLC, a California-based investment firm that acquires, renovates, and operates apartment properties, with an emphasis on affordable and workforce communities. He directs the overall strategy and operations of the Company. Since its formation in 2008, Avanath has acquired $2.5 billion of properties in 13 states in the U.S., comprising 10,000 apartment units. Avanath is vertically integrated and is an SEC registered investment advisor and an institutional fund manager, with capabilities that include acquisition sourcing and underwriting, construction, asset management, and on-site property management.

Daryl has 39 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Previously, he was an Executive Managing Director of Centerline Capital Group. He became part of the Centerline team when his company, Capri Capital Finance, was acquired by Centerline in 2005. He co-founded and served as Co-Chairman of the Capri Capital family of companies. Daryl was instrumental in building Capri to a diversified real estate investment firm with $8 billion in real estate equity and debt investments under management. Prior to Capri, he was Regional Vice President at Westinghouse Credit Corporation and a Second Vice President at Continental Bank.

He holds a Master’s in Architecture and a Master’s in Business Administration, both from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Michigan. He serves on the Visiting Committee of the MIT Sloan School of Management. In 2015, Daryl received the MIT Sloan School Distinguished Alumni Award and served as the 2015 commencement speaker for the Sloan School MBA graduation.

He is a Past Chairman of the National Multifamily Housing Council and previously served as an independent director on the boards of Catellus Development Corporation (CDX), Silver Bay Realty Trust (SBY), and Whitestone REIT (WSR).


Jasmine N. Richards, CFA
Head of Diverse Manager Research
Cambridge Associates

Jasmine joined Cambridge Associates in 2018 as Head of Diverse Manager Research to lead the firm’s ongoing initiative to identify and research investment managers in all public and private asset classes that have underrepresented owners or leaders, including women and people of color. She has over 15 years of both buy and sell side experience. Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, she worked at FIS Group as an International Equity Manager and Research Analyst responsible for identifying and managing investment strategies, with an emphasis on diverse-owned asset managers.

Jasmine is a frequent speaker at client and industry events, including The Investment Diversity Exchange (TIDE), National Association for Security Professionals (NASP), New America Alliance (NAA) and National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC). She also regularly contributes to thought leadership in the diverse manager space partnering with industry organization such as the Intentional Endowments Network and Confluence Philanthropy.

She holds an MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business where she concentrated in Finance, Accounting and Strategic Management. While at University of Chicago, she also studied Emerging Markets at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. She also attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the New York Institute of Technology for her undergraduate education. She is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Boston.

Christopher Rowe, CFA
Managing Director, Investments
Church Pension Group


Christopher Rowe is a Managing Director of CPG. He is responsible for leading CPG’s socially responsible investment engagement strategy and outreach initiatives. He works to build relationships with companies in which CPG invests, peer organizations, The Episcopal Church, and other stakeholders with similar values. Additionally, he works on behalf of the Chief Investment Officer to oversee various aspects of administration for the Investments Department, including communications and compliance.

Prior to CPG, Christopher was Chief of Staff to the CEO of PGIM, Prudential Financial’s asset management business, where he was responsible for wide-ranging activities including business administration, external relations, and sustainability. Earlier in his career, he worked directly with institutions and faith-based investors on strategies for integrating values with investments.

He received a BA in Economics from Haverford College and an MBA in Finance from New York University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.


Bobby Turner
Principal and Chief Executive Officer
Turner Impact Capital

Over the past two decades, Bobby Turner has established himself as a pioneer in the area of social impact investing. Since founding Turner Impact Capital in 2014, he has rapidly built one of the nation’s largest social impact investment firms, with over $3 billion in investment potential to help address some of the country’s most pervasive social issues with real estate solutions. As former Chairman, CEO and Co-Founding Partner of Canyon Capital Realty Advisors (CCRA), he oversaw a commercial real estate and mortgage asset portfolio totaling over $12 billion and was responsible for launching several groundbreaking funds that helped define the “triple bottom line” investment movement. In his years as a social impact innovator, Bobby has dedicated himself to providing sound financial returns for investors while fostering opportunities for the communities in which his funds invest.

Bobby is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania (B.S., Finance) where he serves on Wharton’s Board of Overseers and where he has endowed a number of initiatives focused on social impact and triple bottom line investing. Today these programs have grown to include curriculum development, summer internships for students interested in pursuing social impact careers, financial scholarships for minority students, the Turner Social Impact Society and the Lauren and Bobby Turner Executive Speaker Series for Social Impact.
